Abstract

The Four Forest Restoration Initiative (4FRI) is a collaborative effort to restore unhealthy ponderosa pine forest ecosystems to increase forest resiliency and reduce the threat of catastrophic wildfires across four national forests along the Mogollon Rim, Arizona. A systematic review was conducted to synthesize the state of knowledge with respect to hydrological responses to forest restoration thinning and to evaluate the quality and type of references that exist within the literature.
